Aussie star Hugh Jackman is now nursing a wound on his nose following a procedure to remove another skin cancer.
Jackman discovered the occurrence of a basal cell carcinoma on his nose, the same spot where Hugh had the same type of skin cancer removed late last year.
Basal cell carcinoma or ‘BCC’ is the most common type of skin cancer in Australia. Click here for more info on BCC and other skin cancers.
Having spent his youth largely unprotected playing in the sun, Hugh Jackman expects that this will not be the last of his skin cancer scares.
Like many males around the world it appears that there has been a lack of appropriate sun protection measures, which Hugh himself has put down to being a ‘little lazy’. But having now gone through the ordeal on a number of occasions Hugh has assured everybody that he will maintain sun protection from now on.
