Men More Likely to Die From Skin Cancer

New figures have shown that men are twice more likely to die from skin cancer than women in Victoria.

From the 322 people who died from melanoma in Victoria during 2011, 217 (67%) were men.

Jen Makin from SunSmart, says that although there are promising signs of a decline over the past two years, the figures are sill a cause for concern.

All men are encouraged to check their skin regularly for changes and ensure their skin is well protected while out in the sun.
