Wally the Wattle Bird

Wally the wattle bird brought much joy to the Spotscreen team the other week, after he was rescued by our nurse practitioner Mary.

Wally was found under a tall tree one evening and it appeared that he was struggling to take flight to return to his mother’s nest.

Mary took him into her care and brought him into the office to continue his feeding routine of damp doggy biscuits and small pieces of strawberry.

The Spotscreen team were thrilled to have such a cute little visitor here in the office!

He brought many smiles across our faces and we hoped to have made him feel right at home in his pot plant nest.
